徹底したインドア派のドリューの夏の休日は部屋で音楽鑑賞など楽しんでおります。
先日、この曲のオリジナルを聴いていて久しぶりに思い出したのが、
民謡歌手の金沢明子さんが歌う『イエロー・サブマリン音頭』(1982)です。
大瀧詠一さんプロデュースで日本語詞は松本隆さん。
1980年代からビートルズの楽曲著作権保護が強化され、その影響で1960年代や1970年代にカバーの際に行われていた歌詞の変更（替え歌及び訳詞）が世界的に認められなくなったとされています。しかし、この曲を聞いたポール・マッカートニーは歌詞の変更を伴ったカバーを許可した。って、Wikipediaに書いてあります。ポール優しい‼︎

As a devoted indoor person, my perfect summer day is spent at home listening to music.
The other day, while listening to the original version of this song, I was reminded of “Yellow Submarine Ondo” (1982), sung by Japanese folk singer Akiko Kanazawa. It was produced by Eiichi Ohtaki, with Japanese lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto.
According to Wikipedia, copyright protection for Beatles songs became much stricter in the 1980s, and changing the lyrics when covering their songs—which had been common in the 1960s and ’70s—was generally no longer allowed. However, after hearing this version, Paul McCartney personally approved this lyric adaptation. What a kind-hearted guy!
The heat has been relentless lately, but this song is sure to put a smile on your face.
